There is no doubt that, after his overwhelmed victory at the poll, and confirmation through issuance of certificate of Return by the Electoral body, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang of the PDP, will become the next governor of Plateau State.
Plateau State government has approved the establishment of a transition committee in fulfilment of it’s necessary obligation to facilitate the process of swearing -in- and handing over of power from Governor Lalong to the Governor-elect, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang.
The government in a statement signed by PETER WUYEP
Permanent Secretary (PGS), on behalf of Secretary to the Government of the State dated 31st March, said, “the executive Governor will inaugurate the Committee on Monday 3 April, 2023 by 11.00am at the Victoria Gowon Hall, New Government House, Rayfield, Jos”
The statement further expected Members of the Central Planning Committee to be seated by 10.30am at the event venue.
